RE- SOURCE PHILIPP GERSTNER, MARKETING, GER With which of the values do you identify most? Integrity – whether an expression of appreciation or critical feedback, whether passion or frustration, whether resilience or anger – the important thing is that any expression be honest. That, in turn, will happen only if there is trust. Reliability is also essential for teamwork. Do you have any stories which demonstrate how one of the values can be practiced? In 2020, the COVID-19 pandemic caused many trade shows to initially be postponed and then canceled, one of them at extremely short notice. Our booth builder then carefully inquired of us as to whether they could charge us for the services performed so far – which we, of course, accepted. Since only part of the service was included in the invoice, I asked that it be checked again for completeness, as otherwise we would have been charged too little. This type of appreciation for their work pleased the service provider very much, which they also expressed. MALTE LOHMANN, SALES, GER With which of the values do you identify most? Respect, because that is the con- dition for open and collaborative communication. Did the teamwork in the culture journey make it easier to identify with the values? I find it very positive that we agree on generally understand - able and accepted values in the team and the company. This creates a basis for respectful cooperation. It creates the condi- tion that everyone from the community can rely on it and that the same values are lived and adhered to. HOLGER DANNEMANN, SONOTRODE PRODUCTION, GER Which value is the most important one to you? All four, as they complete our “WHY,” but respect is in the foreground. Per- sonal and appreciative interaction is extremely important to me, as only in this way can productive discussions and results come about. Is there a value success story? With a great deal of “passion,” we redesigned an internal process that for many years was considered unchangeable and have already benefited greatly from this change. The basis of the culture journey is passion, resilience, integrity, and respect. Our everyday work at Herrmann Ultraschall is based on these four values. Which one means the most to you and does it impact more than your everyday work? 79 78
